The Sydney Aquarium is said to be one of the best in the world. We don’t have a lot to compare it to so we’ll just take their word for it. It really was incredible. Not only do they have fish (lots of fish) in regular tanks they have 4 different tunnels you walk through that are actually giant fish tanks in the Sydney Harbor. This allows the fish to swim all around you. It was neat seeing the under side of many of them especially some of the different rays. Here’s some pictures.
This critter is a platypus. They’re incredibly hard to capture on film (at least for me) because they swim so fast. They’re like furry torpedoes.
Ian had fun playing with this sea turtle. He’d move his hand and the turtle would move with him.
Here’s some other cool fish we saw.
